Homeless Resources

The Housing Authority does not provide emergency housing services, though individuals facing housing insecurity are encouraged to complete an application for our rental assistance programs. The resources on this page are local partner homeless service providers who may be able to provide assistance to you.

Pillars – Ending homelessness in the Fox Valley by connecting individuals and families to resources that promote self-sufficiency and prevent future homeless episodes. 605 E Hancock St, Appleton, WI 54911.

Fox Valley Warming Shelter – Provides overnight, temporary shelter to adult men and women who are homeless and collaborates with community resources to pave a path toward self-sufficiency. 1928 West College Avenue, Appleton, WI 54914

Day By Day Shelter -Day by Day Shelter collaboratively provides temporary shelter, individualized services, and opportunities for self-sufficiency to empower the most vulnerable adults in our community.   420 Ceape Ave, Oshkosh WI 54901.

Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services - Serving individuals and families in Winnebago and Green Lake Counties who are struggling with the devastating effects of domestic abuse, providing comprehensive domestic violence programs and services.
Solutions Center - Provides specialized services in the Fond du Lace area to both the homeless and victims of domestic abuse. Homeless services include shelter options for men, women, children and families still intact. Clients’ basic needs, including food and personal care, are met daily. 39 N. COTS – Provides temporary transitional shelter for homeless men, women, young adults and single mother families in Outagamie, Winnebago and Calumet counties.
